Macramé deckchair workshop
In partnership with Seaside Revival Vintage Festival, this is a rare chance to make your very own deckchair, over the course of two workshops.
During the first workshop on 23rd July I'll introduce you to the traditional maritime textile knotting method of macramé, and we will spend the evening beginning the seat cover. You will take your work home and complete the length, returning to a second workshop on Friday the 30th July where I will demonstrate how to attach your work, and we will build your chair.
Your finished deckchair will be the envy of onlookers on the beach, in the park or wherever you’re setting up your picnic - and is sure to become a family vintage heirloom!

macramé bunting workshop
Learn how to make your own mini Macramé bunting at this workshop, hosted as part of the Creative Peninsula Programme of events.
During the workshop I'll teach you the essential Macramé knots you need to make this project, and then you will work through it with me, taking home your own mini bunting to decorate your home or garden.
